Overland with dogs

We can’t imagine our overland travels without our German Shepherd dogs.

For some, they can act like a very good security system, but for us they are the best travel partners 🙂Real friends !

We have 3 dogs, and two of them accompany us most of the time in our travels. It may seem complicated at first, but having dog passports and health certificates approved by the veterinary doctor (the only documents that have been requested by authorities), everything becomes simple and, why not, fun too. Also, It would be useful a little bit of dog training, that you can do it yourself if you make some research (dogs being very receptive), since it won’t be funny all the times they steal the toys on the beach and you “roar” by calling them back. Also, the cleaning rules in the cities / inhabited areas should be respected (not any shit brings luck :)) and another tip: if you prefer wildcamping, even a small sized dog, can be the most effective alarm system. You will sleep comfortably and he will announce you to wake up if necessary.

When we wildcamp, our dogs prefer to sleep outside. They will keep out the curious ones at night
